3-D Victorian Witch Doll, Stand Up Cats, and More

New Goodies!

Happy Saturday everyone! We have some great new goodies in the shop this week. The 3-D Witch Shrine Kit is of course my favorite! Last week my friend Lisa Rupp suggested combining the Witch Doll and Spider Web Door Shrine Kit. I thought it was brilliant, so voila! I added some extra special touches too. I'm guessing several of you will also love our new Stand-Up Cats. They are Purrrr-fect for Halloween or everyday cat fun. There are new Stencils and new Tim Holtz goodies as well!

2014 Gothic Tombstone ATC Swap!

I hope you'll join us for our NEW ART SWAP! We already have several players, but of course, the more the merrier! Tombstones are due October 6, so you still have lots of time.

Need some more inspiration? Check out the 2012 Tombstone Swap! And the 2013 Tombstone Swap!

Tombstone Inspiration!

Sherry Matthews already has her second Tombstone finished for the NEW ART SWAP! Isn't her diamond background fantastic? I love the texture on her Pumpkin and Mini Bats!

On My Art Table!

Do you plan ahead for a project or just wing it? I do both. It just depends on my mood and/or inspiration. For the last days I've had this cool project sitting on my art table, and I can't wait to dive in (pun intended). It's starting with this cool old letter press box from my stash. Once finished, it will stand up. You could also use our Microslide Cubby as a substitute. I'll also be using a Victorian Frame, Medium Mermaid Skeleton, Fish Scales Stencil, Small Ouija Board, Fish Skeleton Charm, and no doubt my list will grow. I definitely have the whole thing planned out in my head! Once finished, it will be a cool standing assemblage piece.

Nap Nook Progess!

I've made bit of progress on the studio nap nook and all that is left is hanging the set of mirrors on the wall. So I'll be making the big reveal soon! In the meantime, I wanted to show you that I now own a SECOND red couch. Bonnie Ashurst sent me that tiny red couch on the tray. What a fun mail surprise. Thank you so much Bonnie!

Inspiration By Martina Fuchs!

This gorgeous mixed media canvas was created by Martina Fuchs from Germany! She used our Steampunk Heart, and definitely made it look fabulous! You should check out Martina's blog post for even more great photos here.

Inspiration By Gerri Herbst!

And for even more hearty goodness, here is a stunning Keyhook assemblage by Design Team Member Gerri Herbst. I love how she made the Scrap Angel (and Fairy Head Paper Cuts) so functioal. Lovely piece Gerri!

Inspiration By Amy Nieman!

I adore this fabulous collage by Design Team Member Amy Nieman! She used our Doll Head Collage Sheet, Cupcake Paper Cuts, Washi Tape, and loads of talent. I'm always in awe of Amy's wonderful layers and textures. Amazing work!

Inspiration By Linda Cain!

This fantastic doll, "Madame Macabre" is by Design Team Member Linda Cain! She used the Large Female Doll Shrine Kit, and added several Gears, Watch Parts, and other goodies. I'm in LOVE with her skit and boots. Just fabulous. She is the perfect mix of Halloween and Steampunk. You can read more about Madame Macabre and find more cool photos on Linda's blog here.

Inspiration By Lisa Rupp!

I'm really excited to share this awesome Victorian Pumpkin Doll by Lisa Rupp! This is the first sample I've seen using this kit, and it's beyond fabulous! Check out those eyes on the Bats and Cat! They are SEED BEADS. What a brilliant idea! You can also thank Lisa Rupp for suggesting the latest 3-D Victorian Witch Doll. She'll go beautifully with the Pumpkin Dolls. Thank you for the inspiration Lisa!

Just Charming!

I'm closing with an yummy photo of just some of the charms and cut-outs you can find in our Halloween Section. Many of you bought our Ouija Boards last week and already have them in hand. Are you loving them? I think they are even cooler in person! Happy Creating! xoxo
